A Tribute For Paws

❤️ Tribute by Rosemary Gladstar & Robert Chartier 🌈 Passed: 03/20/2026

Paws was a stout little orange tabby with enormous feet ~ one those very special polydactly kitties with five toes on each front foot. He was a ferel , wild as could be, and showed up at our home, about 18 years ago.  How fortunate for us!!  He had the biggest purr and when he would purr, which was often, you could hear several rooms away. He was always the ‘happy guy’ and the kitty that was always in a good mood.  In fact, we often would say we wanted to be more like Paws…He was a good role model for us.  He was one of our kitties that got along with all of the other cats; they all loved him and he loved them all right back. He had a special relationship with Borus, another feral kitty that we had acquired, and they were often curled up in one of those small kitty beds, snuggled together, but barely fitting in the space, licking and grooming each other; it was so sweet to watch them loving up each other so sweetly.

Paws lived the best kitty life possible, and lived to be quite elderly at that.  And though we miss him dearly we’d rather he be in the deep sleep of death, resting peacefully under the big old Cedar tree, than suffering as he was the last few days of his life.

Paws at home offfers a wonderful service, and were kind and thoughtful throughout.
