A Tribute For Heidy

Heidy was a surprise gift for me. She was a rescue via Passion for Paws that our daughter located, and my husband instigated it all. She came to us with anxiety issues we didn’t realize at the time, but hoped would subside, they only changed over time.  She was happy with us enjoyed walks in the woods but not friendly towards other humans or dogs. When visitors came, we’d keep her in a separate room for the first few minutes and when we let her join the group, she was fine and enjoyed the pats and attention she’d receive. Her favorite activity was jumping for snowballs; she’d do it as long as we’d toss them in the air. Lots of time she would turn in mid-flight to catch them. It was a hard decision to make to for her trip across the rainbow bridge, but it was most definitely time. Making the decision to have Paws at Home was the best choice!
