We are a home veterinary practice specializing in palliative, hospice, and end-of-life care for chronically ill or geriatric dogs and cats.

Paws at Home Mobile Vet is a team of veterinary professionals who come to your home or business to provide palliative care, hospice care and end of life services for dogs and cats. We recognize it can be extremely difficult and uncomfortable for your geriatric or chronically ill pet to visit a physical vet practice.

Paws at Home is passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care to your geriatric pet in a more comfortable setting. Dr. Horn is a certified Palliative and Hospice veterinarian through the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. Exams take place in your home, yard, or wherever your pet is happiest,

The Paws at Home team uses positive reinforcement and is committed to moving as slowly and gently as necessary for your pet’s comfort. We take our time with our patients to keep them as comfortable and unstressed as possible.

Give your older and chronically ill pets the gift of their own personal in-home veterinary care team and let the vet come to you.

Saying Goodbye

When you have to say goodbye, you can do so from the peaceful setting of your home with compassionate euthanasia.

Referral Services

There may be a time when your pet needs additional diagnostic procedures, hospitalization, or surgery.  If that occurs, we have many fine vets in the area as well as two specialty practices. Your pet can be referred for evaluation and procedures, including but not limited to, X-rays, ultrasound, CT scan, dental care, and surgery.
